A Maryland Lottery player is walking with a little extra pep in their step on Friday morning after a winning $840,000 'Multi-Match' ticket was sold at an area convenience store.
The winning numbers for the drawing on Thursday, Aug. 10 were: 14-15-20-32-40-42.
As of Friday afternoon, the prize remains unclaimed.
The winning golden ticket was sold at Moreland's Country Store on Woodville Road in Waldorf, which will also receive a $1,000 bonus.
Lottery official said that the winner should sign the back of the ticket as a precaution and will have 182 days to claim the six-figure prize.
This marks the fifth "Multi-Match" jackpot win of 2023, nearly matching the total number from all of 2022 and already matching the five wins in 2021.
